BANKASTAB® Heat Stabilizers
DMT-5 Series

BANKASTAB® DMT-5Series is commonly used as raw material organotin-stabilized PVC for water pipes and food packaging applications as tin compounds used in these applications are known as nontoxic.

BANKASTAB® DMT-5Series is used in glass manufacturing to enchance flat substrates, antiridescences, refractive index and absarion resistance. It is used as an intermediate for methyltin family stabilizer for polymers.

Handling and Storage

BANKASTAB® DMT-5Series is heavier than air, easy to gather at a low positions. React with oxidizing agent. Produce toxic gases when decomposition at high temperature. Hazardous combustion substance is toxic tin and chlorine vapors.

BANKASTAB® DMT-5Series must be handled by qualified personnel wearing appropiate personal protection equipment: breathing apparatus, chemical resistant gloves, googles and protective chlotes. Storage temperature 5-30°C, place in cool and dry area. Seal it immediately afterusage

BANKASTAB® MT 617 6 Series

BANKASTAB® MT 617 Heat Stabilizer is a highly efficient liquid methyl tin mercaptide designed to stabilize rigid polyvinyl chloride and Flexible polyvinyl chloride copolymers. BANKASTAB® MT 617 provides good early color as well as excellent dynamic processing stability. Its good residual stability also allows for the efficient use of regrind. This stabilizer’s properties has proven to be 10% to 15% more effective when compared on an equal part basis to Butyl Tin Mercaptide, Calcium Zink and other stabilizers in clear or opaque rigid PVC and rigid/soft film formulations. BANKASTAB® MT 617 is suitable for food packaging applications as defined by BGA, FDA, REACH and other regulatory agency worldwide.

Handling and Storage

BANKASTAB® MT 617 is a liquid tin mercaptide heat stabilizer and should be handled with normal precautions used in good industrial practices for organic liquids. See Material Safety Data Sheet for safety and health information.

Store in cool, dry area. Indoor storage is recommended. Stainless steel is recommended for piping, valves, and pumps used to handle BANKASTAB® MT 617.

BANKASTAB® MT 620

BANKASTAB® MT 620 Heat Stabilizer is a highly efficient Iiquid Methyl  Tin Mercaptide designed to stabilize Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride and Flexible Polyvinyl Chloride copolymers. BANKASTAB® MT 620 provides good early color as well as excellent dynamic processing stability Its good residual stability also allows for the efficient use of regrind. This non lubricating stabilizer has proven to be 15% to 20% more effective when compared on an equal part basis to Octhyl Tin Mercaptide and Butyl Tin Mercaptide stabilizers in clear rigid PVC bottle and rigid/soft film formulations. BANKASTAB® MT 620 is suitable for food packaging applications as defined by BGA, FDA, REACH and other regulatory agency worldwide.

BANKASTAB® MT-7Series thermal stabilizer is a unique low cost liquid reverse ester methyltin stabilizer which offers significant cost and performance advantages in a variety of rigid Vinyl formulations. Its unique chemistry provides excellent early color stability leading to unsurpassed color hold in all applications of Vinyl extrusions. The excellent cost-performance of BANKASTAB® MT-7Series stabilizer has made it the industry standard for the processing of Vinyl pipe.

Application :

  1. Specifically optimized state-of-the-art reverse ester chemistry for efficient, cost-Features effective, trouble-free extrusions of Vinyl articles.
  2. Recommended for all single and multiscrew extrusions of potable water, DWV, sewer, electrical conduit, sewer pipe, irrigation pipe and telephone duct.
  3. BANKASTAB® MT-7Series stabilizer is fully approved by both NSF and PPI for uses in potable water pressure pipes under the PPI-Vinyl Generic Range Formulation at dosages of 0.3 to 1.0 phr.
  4. Recommended for uses in many rigid Vinyl extrusions such as rigid interior profiles, solid and foamed profile.
  5. Fully compatible with nearly all of the commonly used processing aids and impact modifiers used commercially in Vinyl extrusion compounds.
